The Best Foot Forward van has had a couple things playing non-stop on repeat this whole trip. On the tunes 1. Johnny Cash, 2. Rihanna, and 3. Kid Rock BUT on DVD, it's been one thing only, the new Cliché video Bon Voyage (purchase that bad boy HERE). We have been so hyped on this video we decided to pick up the phone and give Cliché a shout, and get some of the boys out to the next Best Foot Forward stop in Phoenix tomorrow 5/16. Pete Eldridge and Daniel Espinoza just jumped in the van, and will be rolling around the contest tomorrow and guest judging, so be on your A game PHX!

If you're going to be on the road touring the country for 98 days, you want a couple wild cards in the van to keep things live... Mystery Skateboards team rider Kyle Fredrick is the defintion of "wild card". Kyle will be riding shotgun with us for the next couple weeks, judging Best Foot Forward, skating his ass off, jumping off cliffs, and filming for his upcoming Mystery part. Welcome to the gang Kyle, GET IN THE VAN!
We have had some rough weather on the road this year, but couldn't have asked for a better day in beautiful Kansas City! Zered Bassett, Eli Reed, and Tom Remillard rode into town with us to represent Converse and kick it with the KC skate scene. After a day of insane skating, our boy Levi Pollard took the win, and stole the vest! We will see you at finals Levi!
For the Mayhem Van crew, it isn't all about setting up and judging contests, product tosses, and driving. Sometimes it is about stretching the legs, sessioning local spots all over the country and stacking footage.
The Mayhem Van hit Nashville, TN (aka "Music City") on May 2nd. Our man Eli Tennant came out victorious and will win a trip to the Zumiez Best Foot Forward Finals in July. He also goes home with the coveted denim vest. Eli beat out Joey George and Jake Wooten who were second and third respectively.
The Zumiez Best Foot Forward contest in Dallas has moved from Lively Pointe to The Pier Skatepark in Kennedale, TX to accomodate for weather.
It's here! Jump in the van and follow the gang as they hit Virginia Beach, Durham, Orlando and Gainesville. #bestfootforward13
We knew this would be a recurring theme this year. Johnny Law stopped the terror van again. This time it was at stop number four in Gainesville, FL. The conversation went a little like this:
The tour encountered rains in the Southeast, but that didn't stop local rippers from Virginia Beach, Durham, Gainesville, Orlando and Atlanta from throwing down at the first five stops on the 2013 Zumiez Best Foot Forward tour. Winners were crowned, denim vests and gift cards were issued to the worthy and everyone had a great time. Our man Dalton Dern, winner of the Orlando stop models the symbol of excellence, the highly coveted denim vest.
Well, we knew it would happen. We just didn't think it would happen on the first day of tour. If you wrap the van with sketchy artwork and the words "98 Days of Mayhem" the cops are going to be curious, right? Pat prepares his license, registration and explanation. Let's hope Johnny Law doesn't want to get a look at the van crew at all 30 stops this year.
